Update on CEO Recruitment Process

Update on CEO Recruitment Process

As many of us in the domain name industry prepare for the ICANN meeting in Panama City I thought it would be good timing to provide an update from the Public Interest Registry board on the process for recruiting a new President and CEO. We have now agreed on a job description and appointed a recruitment company, and hope to have an advertisement and candidate pack out in early July. We will be following a thorough process with the final interviews expected in late September or early October and we hope to have the successful candidate in post by the end of the year. Our Interim President and CEO will return to being a board director and will be handing over a company we believe is in excellent shape for the new CEO to take forward.
