Extend Trust
Dedicated websites for initiatives and campaigns can help streamline communication and navigation, as well as signal to an audience that an initiative is a real area of focus.
Signal Purpose
Choosing a TLD such as .CHARITY, .FOUNDATION, or .GIVES as an organization’s primary online property can help send a clear signal about its specific purpose.
Desired Name
PIR’s newly expanded .ORG family of domains offers more opportunities to secure a website name that might be taken on legacy top level domains.

Where Do I Begin?
It’s easy to get up and running with the .ORG Family of Domains.
There are three basic steps to the process:
Determine if your potential domain names are available using our RDAP search tool. If it’s not available, there are other options. Registrars may offer different domain suggestions, or if you’re really set on your original domain, you may be able to acquire it in the aftermarket, using brokers or domain auctions.
If your domain is available, choose an accredited Registrar and complete the domain registration process. This list of registrars offering .ORG Family of Domains products can help.
Work with your IT team/hosting provider to configure your new domain so that it works for your website. Your registrar and hosting provider may also provide services to help make it easier and add additional functionality to your site, like SSL or malware protection.
