The First Lap

Every champion starts somewhere. For every Formula 1 driver there’s a first lap, for every changemaker there’s a .ORG.

More than a Domain

O, R, and G. These three letters are changing the world, empowering people to build homes, feed communities, heal the sick, provide a helping hand, and enable the next generation to build a brighter future. They’re home to a global community of changemakers working tirelessly for social change. They’re three letters that everyone understands.

With over 11 million domain names registered worldwide, .ORG has built an enduring legacy of trust, empowering changemakers to harness the power of the Internet to spread their missions. But it also does so much more. In our latest campaign with Formula 1, learn about how O, R, and G, is helping changemakers make a difference, spotlighting Mission44.org and the millions of mission-driven organizations and individuals powered by .ORG that are  driving impact in communities everywhere.

Empowering Young People

Mission 44, the .ORG featured in “The First Lap”, was founded by Formula 1 champion Sir Lewis Hamilton, who has first-hand experience of an education system that worked against him. Today, Mission 44 is committed to driving change so that every young person can thrive in school and access great careers in STEM. To date, they have supported organizations across the U.K., U.S. and Brazil and reached over half a million young people through their partnerships. Mission 44 is a powerful example of a .ORG that dares to dream of a better future. A future where every child can thrive, no matter their background.

Engaging The Next Generation

Joshua’s Heart Foundation was founded in 2005 in Miami Beach, Fla. by Joshua Williams when he was four years old. Today, Joshua and the organization are committed to training the next generation of hungry leaders by equipping service-oriented students with the strategic vision, operational skill-set, and trusted network they need to combat food insecurity and poverty in their own communities.

Fighting for Gender Equality

VARSH Foundation is a feminist-led, non-profit organization driven by youth committed to eradicating sexual abuse, child abuse, gender-based violence and gender discrimination in society. Founded in 2019, the organization empowers victims and holds offenders accountable through legal advocacy and community support. Their work focuses on key areas such as child rights, women’s empowerment, and the promotion of peace and security, with a strong commitment to justice and equality.
