Only Four Days Remaining for Organizations to Enter to Win a Fully Designed .ORG Website from Public Interest Registry and OmniStudio
RESTON, Va. (November 5, 2013) – Is your organization in need of an online facelift? From now until midnight (EST) on Friday, November 8, 2013, Public Interest Registry is accepting nominations from leaders and representatives of organizations and nonprofits for a chance to win a new .ORG website designed and developed by OmniStudio.
The contest comes on the heels of Public Interest Registry’s own organizational rebranding and newly launched website, which aims to exemplify the organization’s brand identity as the trustworthy, purposeful, spirited and collaborative operator of .ORG – the world’s third largest top-level domain – and the soon-to-be-launched .NGO and .ONG domains. The winning organization will receive the opportunity to work with OmniStudio to directly redesign its .ORG website to effectively showcase their work, dedication and mission-driven causes.
“The .ORG Website Makeover Contest was created to give deserving organizations a chance to strengthen their online visibility with a redesigned website that will visually represent their ideas, missions and causes,” said Brian Cute, CEO of Public Interest Registry. “I highly encourage any organization with an aging website to consider entering this contest as a means to further communicate their mission, and show the world what makes them unique.”
Authorized representatives of any organization – from nonprofits and community groups to corporate foundations and arts and culture venues – are eligible to participate in the contest by sharing their story on how a newly designed website will help further their mission. Organizations have until November 8 to enter online, after which a panel of judges will select up to 10 contest finalists to advance to the two-week open voting period beginning November 25. During that time, members, supporters and the general public will be able to vote in support of their favorite organization.
To enter or view official contest rules, interested organizations should visit www.pir.org/org-website-makeover-contest.
