Data Disclosure Request Mechanism and Process
This page outlines the required format and content of data disclosure requests, the means of providing a response to the requestor, and the anticipated timeline for responses from PIR.
PIR will review and respond to each request that meets the criteria outlined below. Please be aware that PIR operates within the minimum data set as defined in Sections 7.1-7.2 of ICANN’s Registration Data Policy and as outlined in PIR’s Privacy Notice and can only potentially provide the data we hold.
PLEASE NOTE: PIR does not receive or hold certain information as set forth in Sections 7.3 and 7.4 of Registration Data Policy. This means that PIR does not hold or maintain: Registrant Name, Registrant Address Elements, Registrant Email, Registrant Phone and Fax, Registrant Organization, Tech Contact Phone, or Email.
These data elements are held by the Sponsoring Registrar. For inquiries regarding these data elements, we suggest you should contact the Sponsoring Registrar which can be identified here: https://lookup.icann.org/en. You will receive a confirmation of receipt of your request in no more than two (2) business days and a response to your request in no more than thirty (30) calendar days.
Mechanism

Request Format and Content
Requests may be submitted via email and should, at a minimum, contain the below information:
- Requestor Identity
- Requestor contact information
- Is the requestor a business entity or individual
- Where applicable, any Power of Attorney statements or similar statements evidencing authorization to act on the requestor’s behalf
- A detailed request including a list of data elements requested by the requestor.
- Information about the legal rights of the requestor and specific rationale and basis for the request
- A copy of the below affirmation that the request is being made in good faith and agreement by the requestor to process lawfully any data element values received in response to the request.
Affirmation and Agreement (to be included in the email and filled out by the applicant)
I ______________________ (print name) certify that the information given on this form to PIR is true. I affirm that I am making this request in good faith. I understand that it is necessary for PIR to confirm my identity and it may be necessary to obtain more detailed information to locate the correct personal data. I certify that I consent to provide some personal data to PIR and their need to retain that data for their records in order to effect my individual request for personal data. Should PIR disclose data in response to this request, I will lawfully process any data elements received in response to this request.
