Public Interest Registry (PIR) has a longstanding commitment to support nonprofits, NGOs, and social enterprises through free resources, various programs and ongoing initiatives. Many of these initiatives, particularly the ORG In Action program and .ORG Impact Awards, bring the stories of individuals and organizations, regardless of size or sector, to life. They provide a vehicle for their mission to reach broader audiences and drive meaningful change. Recently, the prestigious Telly Awards recognized video components from each of these initiatives. This honor not only celebrates these videos but also highlights our unwavering support for organizations that are making a positive impact around the world.
The Telly Awards have long been synonymous with high standards in video and television production. Receiving this award is no small feat—it signifies exceptional creativity, execution, and resonance with the audience. For PIR, this accolade underscores the effectiveness and impact of our commitment to empowering and uplifting the .ORG Community.
This year, PIR received three awards in the below categories:
- Public Interest Registry “ORG In Action” – Stop AAPI Hate is the Gold Telly Winner in Social Video – DEI: Diversity, Equity & Inclusion: Official Listing
- 2023 .ORG Impact Awards Winner Mission Videos is the Silver Telly Winner in Non-Broadcast – Not-for-profit: Official Listing
- Public Interest Registry “ORG In Action” – Youth Vs. The Apocalypse is the Bronze Telly Winner in Social Video – Public Service & Activism: Official Listing
The specific initiatives and videos reflect PIR’s strategic focus on storytelling and community building. Through both ORG In Action and the .ORG Impact Awards, we partner with Small Ax Creative to spotlight the incredible work being done by .ORGs. By showcasing these stories and bringing attention to the impact that they are having, these organizations can gain visibility and attract the support they need to thrive.
The recognition by the Telly Awards is a testament to the organizations and people that comprise the .ORG Community – and is an example of how these initiatives are continuing to make a real difference.
