Jonathon Nevett – President and CEO
Jonathon Nevett is a veteran of the domain name industry. He co-founded Donuts Inc. in 2010 and helped to raise in excess of $150M to form a registry of over 240 Internet domain extensions. He served as Donuts’ EVP for Corporate Affairs and on its Board of Directors. Jon also is a founding Board member of the Domain Name Association, the domain name industry’s trade association. Previously, Jon served as Senior Vice President at Network Solutions, where he was responsible for policy, government affairs, registry relations, and the corporate ethics office. He also served as Chair of the Board of NameJet and Central Registry Solutions, two NetSol joint ventures with other industry companies.
Prior to joining the industry, he was a director at MCI, an associate at the law firm of Kirkland and Ellis, a judicial clerk in the U.S. District of Pennsylvania, a congressional campaign coordinator, and a legislative assistant in the New York State Assembly.
Paul Diaz – Vice President, Policy
Paul brings nearly two decades of policy development and analysis experience to the Public Interest Registry policy team. Prior to joining Public Interest Registry he spent over 12 years as Senior Policy Manager for Network Solutions, where he led policy development and compliance initiatives that impacted the company’s corporate objectives as they related to new TLDs, ICANN consensus policies and industry regulations. During his tenure, Paul was also instrumental in acting as the company’s voice of governmental advocacy through presenting various issues to Congress and Executive branch agencies.
Kathy King – Vice President, Finance
Kathy leads the Finance, Accounting, Information Technology and Business Intelligence teams and brings more than 20 years of broad-based and progressively responsible experience in financial planning & analysis, budgeting & forecasting and accounting operations in the non-profit sector to Public Interest Registry. Throughout her career, she was instrumental in creating effective strategies, tools and processes to grow the financial statements, strengthen internal controls, mitigate risk and enhance the overall customer experience. Prior to joining Public Interest Registry, Kathy held various finance roles at the American Association for Motor Vehicle Administrators and Smithsonian Business Ventures.
