The Prelude To The Dream Race to Feed The Children

Yesterday was the 8th annual running of the Prelude To The Dream race to raise awareness and funding for Feed The Children, an outstanding organization that provides food to families in need.  PIR is proud and honored to sponsor this amazing race featuring 25 superstars of NASCAR, NHRA, and INDYCAR, including Kenny Wallace, Danica Patrick, Tony Stewart, and Jimmie Johnson.

For each of the drivers who finished in the top-10 spots in the Prelude To The Dream race, Feed The Children will send a food truck to each driver’s hometown or the city of their choice.  In the eight years the race has been run, more than $3.5 million has been raised for Feed The Children; and this year, their goal is to raise at least $1 million for this truly important cause. This money will go towards more than 320,000 families, and is used to deliver over 150,000 backpacks each year; loaded with assorted children's books, school supplies, food and personal care items which are distributed to our nation's growing population of homeless children. In my eyes, this race has no losers.
